![]() I love that first time they go the the court of nightmares where Feyre and Rhys are both dazed with lust.įeyre and Azriel’s rescue of Elain in WAR, and we get that little blip of Tamlin redemption. ![]() Some positivity, chapter 54 will always be my favorite, when Rhys tells Feyre everything, that he’s seen her painters hands all these years and that she gave him the hope to not break under Amarantha.Ĭlose second is starfall, chapter 44 is wonderful. If I read a book and I didn’t enjoy either the main characters, or the writing, or the plot, if I found myself cringing at scenes or commonly used words - I don’t join the sub! I can’t understand how there’s so many of them. but as always each to their own on that, I’m just relieved to see a positive post like this one (:Īgreed, it fr gets me down. which like I said before, is okay but also.worriesome. i love hearing the different takes! and sometimes it’s fun to discuss, not for the petty sake of being right but to have a discussion for the sake of discussion or better understanding, that’s what fandom is for after all, interacting, not only agreeing or not being opinionated □ thank you for the lit insight, so true xĪnd yes I’ve noticed that some do leave unfortunately, but you’ll also notice that many have been here since acotar hit those shelves years ago and are still active on this sub and in the fandom, yet they can sometimes loathe most of our main characters. That’s a great way of looking at it! bc everyone is free to an opinion, to be free to critique and on platforms like these you’ll find there’s those that will say one thing and another that may challenge said take, as long as the interactions are respectful then all is well i’d say, you’ll find that this is quite common on social media, you can only hope people follow guidelines, keep their critique and debates respectful. I liked most of the interactions with Rhys both UTM and in MAF (though I can wish they’d been more fleshed out and explored). I liked the scene in the woods with Lucien when she first summons her wings. ![]() I really liked the scene in Winter on the ice, the whole thing. The emotional scenes sometimes I feel she over explains and that takes me out- but then those are people’s favorite scenes so that might just be a me thing. I’m very critical of my own writing and when I read now I feel like good writing I forget I’m reading and when I start noticing the way a scene is written, feel like I can see what the author wants… that feels very cringe to meīut! These books had some really good scenes! I feel like she writes action very well, dynamic scenes, anything where something is HAPPENING she does well. I read every day (as a kid I would check the max of 30 books out from the library and have them all finished by the 14 day due date), now I audio book for commuting/cleaning/showering/breaks at work, etc and I write min 2500 words a night for my own stories. “It should have been me.” And there it was." My hands slackened as another shuddering sob worked its way through me. And maybe I was exhausted and broken, but I breathed, “I killed them.” I hadn’t said the words aloud since it had happened. Cassian’s upraised palms remained before me-ready to take the blow, if I needed to make it. The wrappings around my hands were now mere smudges of soot. "And then my fists connected with bare skin, and I realized I’d punched through the sparring pads-no, burned through them, and- And I stopped, too. Feyre is thinking about everything she's done, everything that's happened to her, and she is pummeling the pads Cassian is holding up for her. □īUT the scene that makes me get choked up - I'm talking lump in my throat, tears in my eyes - is the very first scene they are training together. Actually, between Cassian and anyone he loves dearly. The fairy wearing blue highlights the letters A, E, I, O, and U.I love every single interaction between Cassian and Feyre. They show the entire alphabet in a cloud. The aliens dance around and join the two fairies and their narwhal. The two aliens work together and finish the rest of the alphabet. ![]() Another orange alien with tentacles appears and helps make letters. Sparks come out of the alien's antenna and create letters. The two fairies hop on the narwhal and ride it into space. The fairies wave their wands and finish the ABCs. They take turns waving their magic wands. The other fairy wearing purple waves a magic wand and more letters appear. One fairy dressed in blue clothes waves her magic wand and letters appear. Traditional ABC Song Traditional ABC Song
